What is a Virtual Law Firm?
A virtual law firm can be defined in different ways. Essentially, it is a law firm that does not carry traditional, fixed overheads but rather moulds resource around client needs. We aim to make best use of quality thinking and internet technology to enable us to give clients best advice at a reasonable cost. Rather than employing them on fixed salaries, a virtual law firm works with lawyers who operate independently and are engaged for a specific project or client matter. For many years, clients of traditional law firms have aired concerns about ever increasing costs and the use of hourly billing. The virtual law firm deals with these points. The relationship between lawyer and client is based on, amongst other things trust, reputation, dedication and expertise. These qualities do not depend on fixed overheads and are so often over-looked.
